Dude I am completely flabbergasted at the quality of the officer's quarters in the first minute of the video. I'm a submariner in the US Navy, so it's very cool to see the differences in not only countries navies but ships as well. Makes me kinda wish I had gone with a job that gets me out in the open a bit more to see the sights.

two locks i,v seen that are deep is the lock from the River Mersey into the Sankey Canal and the other one is from the River irwell into the Manchester / Bury / Bolton Canal called Deep lock 1 which replaced lock 1 & 2

would be more fascinating on a US ship. I also saw that Rainbow triangle on the locker. and you wonder why canadian military recruiting is lagging.

I would suggest to take the double decker bus to the peak if time permits. It is a real roller coaster ride.

I paid almost 4K dollars for a Alaskan inland cruise and would have done that everyday for 20 yrs without much complaint. As soon as I get my credit card paid back off I will be taking another cruise.

I have literally never seen a military ship at the big dock lol. (used to be in waterfront Nanaimo quite a bit wandering that dock when I was younger.) I actually got a impropteu tour of one of the 53' tugs there by the crew when I was maybe 14 ish? The captian said that I could go out with them if I was ever down when they were heading out. I also got a tour of a spill responce boat in a pretty similar way and that was really cool. It turns out of you are just some kid watching people work and say hi and ask some questions people love to show you what they do. I moved away about a year ish ago and I really miss the area and the boats.

The Hiawatha tail observation car was parked in Kansas City, Missouri by the Union Station/Science Museum about 2012(?). It was open for touring. Took some pictures. It looked inside like a submarine or space ship. Very futuristic.
